Loose rock and wet roots are where ankles go over. A high cut holds the joint steady and a deep tread bites into ground that shifts underfoot, which is most of what you want from a boot eight miles into the day.
Why you'll love it
- Lace up fit stays put: nothing slides forward on a long descent
- Tough built upper: high cut that steadies the ankle on rough ground
- Deep lugged tread: solid grip on loose rock, mud and wet roots
- Trail and daily wear: rugged enough to keep going season after season
