Rain that was not forecast, three miles from the car. A waterproof shell answers that, and this one packs down small enough to live in your bag on the days it stays dry. It goes on over a knit without pulling at the shoulder, and it comes off again just as fast.
Why you'll love it
- Packs down small: lives in a bag until the weather turns
- Waterproof windproof outer: holds off rain and the wind on open ground
- Adjustable hood: stays up instead of blowing back on you
- Zipped pockets: keep a phone dry when it really starts coming down
